On behalf of the government, the National Property Board of Sweden manages our common natural and cultural heritage. We manage a diversity of state-owned properties – including government buildings, courts, castles, royal estates, theaters, museums, embassies, and one-seventh of the country's area consisting of forests and land.
As employees, we are proud to work for an authority, operate based on the state value framework, and contribute to positive societal development.
SFV Stockholm centrally manages buildings on, among others, Skeppsholmen and Kastellholmen, Riddarholmen, the Old Town, and Djurgården. Among our tenants are authorities, museums, schools, as well as restaurant and hotel operations. Our fantastic buildings in unique environments all have a story to tell and attract visitors from around the world.
The Position
We are a group of facility technicians of varying ages and backgrounds who, together with other colleagues, contribute to the long-term care of our common cultural heritage. We work in teams where you, together with other employees, deliver first-class operation and management on market-based terms with a focus on the building and the tenant.
The work is very varied and diverse; no two days are alike. Your main tasks include supervision and maintenance, media monitoring and operational optimization, fire safety management, corrective maintenance, and participation in projects. It may also include having cross-area responsibility for certain tasks.
As on-call duty, with a one-hour response time, may become relevant, a B driver's license is a requirement.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone with an education in facility management or equivalent, or you have acquired comparable skills in the workplace. We consider it an advantage if you have good knowledge of property automation, media monitoring, operational optimization, and systematic fire safety work. As work in various IT systems is part of the position, good computer skills are required.
You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
Personal Qualities
For us, your personal qualities are important as the role involves many contacts. You appreciate personal meetings, enjoy creating and maintaining personal and professional contacts with tenants, colleagues, and contractors.
As a person, you are curious and like to take your own initiatives to find smart solutions that improve our work methods. Sharing your experiences and knowledge is something you see as natural.
You take responsibility for your tasks and drive your work forward, both independently and in a group. A structured working method as well as order and tidiness are prerequisites for you to succeed in the role. Working in culturally historical environments is something you value, and you understand the special requirements that are imposed.

The position is a permanent employment. SFV applies a 6-month probationary period.
